I’m writing this blog from the airplane flying too Las Vegas for the annual Convention. My good high school friend and I are going to spend a week in Vegas. Not sure if we’re going to gamble much as I’m not a very big gambler, but Theresa was saying she plays poker so who knows.
Our plans are to go out tonight, have dinner and maybe catch a show. Then tomorrow the convention will start around 9AM and last throughout the night. There’s always so much to buy, but I have to be careful and not blow my bankroll the first day. Maybe Theresa can win the money back playing poker. HAHA just kidding!! I will keep everyone updated as the trip proceeds.
Just touched down into Vegas and I’m meeting my friend at the baggage claim. We are going to catch a Taxi to the Hotel Rio where I hear they have an awesome Seafood Buffet. OMG – after finding Theresa we are now outside standing in a long line waiting for the next taxi. There has to be at least a hundred people ahead of us and the line isn’t moving very fast. It’s at least 100 degrees outside and boy I sure hope the casino is air conditioned. Of course it is, this is Vegas 🙂
Finally got into the Taxi and headed to the Rio. The taxi cab driver is foreign, I don’t know what nationality. He drives like a maniac but I guess the drivers in Vegas have too as everything is moving very fast. And pulling up to the Rio now. The room feels so cool I don’t want to leave but I’m sure the Casino will be fine.
We had a great dinner at the seafood Buffet in the RIO. There were crab legs, lobster, shrimp and a bunch of other shellfish. Pretty expensive at $60 per head but well worth it.
Today we got up early and had breakfast before the convention. There were a huge variety of hand bags compared to last year. I’ll be lucky to make my money last the whole trip. May be time to pull the credit card out.
I took a break from the blog and enjoyed the time with my friend and Vegas. Our trip is over tomorrow and we both have early flights. Theresa wanted me to plug her husbands carpet cleaning business, so I’m giving a shout out too Dependable Carpet Care. If you have dirty carpets, that company is the one to call. There are you Happy Theresa 🙂
I’m back on the plane flying home. Man does the time fly by when you’re on vacation, why is that? I have two more bags than I came with and a bunch of nice inventory to sell in the store. Not mentioning the orders I have mailing to the store. All in all the trip was a success. I didn’t gamble so I don’t have any losses to report.
